Sets of traits are notoriously unreliable and somewhat unscientific approach but they can serve you well. In any case we do not have anything better. Traits is probably the oldest way to explain differences in human behaviour. Similarly there is a constellation of traits that produce toxic personality, called sociopath. And gender here is one of the traits that goes into this toxic combination. In no way they are “male sociopath with vagina”. They are a different chemical substance.

Holiday Derangements I can’t decide if holidays are good or bad. I mean, don’t get me wrong. It’s kinda like the world finally realises that you’ve been slaving your life away like a sorry ol’ dog and decides to give you a good time off from your daily routine in a thankless job. You, then, proceed to do nothing productive whatsoever while on holiday, in an attempt to make up for all those late nights at the office and the many stressful times you’ve rushed to meet a crazy deadline.
A vain attempt, really, if you ask me. I guess that, in essence, there is some measure of good in having holidays. But let’s not be narrow-minded or blinded to the other issues that arise prior to that holiday we love so much, alright?

September 28, at For Wayans, making the long-term commitment to Happy Together was appealing for a few reasons: Styles and Winston both serve as executive producers on Happy Together. I like the hours, I like the writers. Happy Endings and New Girl were my first shows, so I only know brutal hours — brutal half-hour shows. I love the look of single-cam, so I get why people do it, but man, nothing like a multicam schedule.
After starring on two single-cam shows, has it been an adjustment to the more traditional multicam setup? The main adjustment is the audience. It pushes you to give energy that you probably would have to be told to give if it was a single-cam.

This is one of the most difficult pieces I have written for a while because it discusses a very gruesome topic that many of us would prefer not to think about. This will also hit a raw nerve with many women and I apologize in advance for this. However, sometimes things like this occur and have occurred and I would like to present an actual account of this type of affair.

I continued my religious practices as I got older. In high school, I read the entire Bible, starting with Genesis all the way through to Revelation. I continued going to mass most Sundays throughout college, and even after college when I’d moved down to Texas on my own to start a new job.
It’s not that I never had any doubts, but religion gives you a huge incentive to not doubt it, what with the reward of heaven and the punishment of spending eternity in hell. So, it took me a while to get past all of that and actually look critically at my religion, including the Bible and Christian religious concepts in general. In this essay, I discuss my reasons for coming to this conclusion, and a bit about my personal journey in abandoning Christianity.

Volume 20, Number Night Driver. When pondering the myriad of polar opposites, much like hot and cold, high and low, or fast and slow, yet another example exists with my daytime drives in route to a racetrack versus my return trips home in the dark of the night.
Every minute of every day is accounted for, so much that it is quite often a thrash to depart for a dirt track at my originally intended hour. However, much to the benefit of my blood pressure, that return home is a completely opposite experience. Calmed and content after the satisfaction of my racing fix, the pace is much more relaxed. With satellite radio serving as my highway companion, I continuously toggle through my favorite stations in search of long-lost gems.
Alertly scanning the edges of the road for the gleaming eyes of wildlife and the occasional cop, the goal is always to get home with as little drama as possible. And as is the case when the end of the season becomes all too apparent, there is an unfulfilled wish that these evening excursions may never come to an end. In addition to the heart-pounding action and the feel-good interactions with long-time acquaintances, these relaxing drives will be sorely missed as I slip into wintertime mode.
When asking how life was treating The King these days, Steve stated that he had a lot of grass to mow and grandkids to take care of. Forced to wait another week for the rumble of racing engines, when hauling to Haubstadt I was hoping for an exception to what has become my frenzied norm. On this occasion, my southwesterly stroll included a stop in Greenwood to visit John Crist, my brother-in-law who suffered a heart attack and fell down his stairs in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Thankfully my sister was downstairs when the incident occurred, as she was able to perform life-saving CPR. My Saturday visit started 30 minutes later than intended due to excruciating delays encountered for U. Stopping for fuel in Waverly and with zero time to spare, the lightly traveled Interstate 69 was easily the most efficient and obvious path to follow.

According to a new view, this essay may reasonably be read as if it were written in the early months of But though the discussion originates in the dry terrain of dates, important interpretative consequences follow. These stem from the interest of the ‘General Observations’ in their own right -a panoramic view of ancient and modern history as broad as the entire range of Gibbon’s History -and from their insertion at the end of Volume I11 of that work published in Were the ‘Observations’ so revised as to be virtually written in sequence as the new view supposes , or do they present a more problematic case -being written before the beginning of Volume I but inserted at the end of an independent text completed eight years later?
David Womersley has sought to re-date the ‘General Observations’ on two grounds: After considering these arguments in order I , I shall proceed to explain or interpret this enigmatic text from a series of perspectives v , on the broad premiss that it can only be understood as a microcosm of Gibbon’s procedures when writing the History or indeed history as a whole.
